Born 1902 in Knockbridge, Dundalk, Louth.
Her parents are - John English 1875 and Rose Owens 1870 -

Hi Steph,

My surname is English and I live in a neighboring parish to Knockbridge, less than 3km away. I'm also on an ancestry hunt. My father grew up in Grange, Knockbridge. His Mother was Elizabeth English (nee Woods). She was born in 1930 (we think) and she died in Oct 1998. My grandfather, John English moved to Warrington in the UK. He died in 1990 over there. Information on the English side of the family is scant. A policy of hush hush was implemented leaving my father and his siblings with very little information on their father and grandparents.
