Ekin or Eriswell
« on: Tuesday 23 August 22 12:44 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the first name of a Mr. Ekin, who died sometime pre-1870, and lived in Eriswell or Little Eriswell, Suffolk.  If you have the year he died that would be great.

Cheers,

The Joseph Ekins who died in 1870 left a probate record. It records he died 9th July 1870 in Eriswell. It also records his wife as Harriet Ekins also of Eriswell. Probate record image on Ancestry.

I think it is Joseph, tho his widow seems to have still been alive in 1870.  Looks like he was an innkeeper & horse-dealer?

Thanks!
