No such thing as a correct spelling for personal names.
 Examples from my family include: several spellings and variants of Catherine; Dominick ending in k, customary in Mayo; Thomas/Tomas.

I have found a marriage for a Miles Glancy on 24 March 1838 in Ireland-place not specified. Wife is Margaret Glancy. Also a death in county Cavan, Ire. in 1886 of a Miles Glancy age approx 88- maybe him or  his father perhaps. Miles/Myles not a very common forename in Ireland

Here's the link to the death in 1886. He died in the Cavan workhouse, but appears to come from Anna [sic].

Is the marriage on Roots Ireland?

That death has been posted in reply 6 and also by Kiltaglassan but that man is described as single. :-\

Sorry, I didn't note the man was single. The marriage is not from rootsireland but from familysearch.
