see col 3 - Dreadful Accident

Several other articles refer to the Pierce family - tend to be in Welsh.

Welsh Journals has an obit - in Welsh - about "Daniel Pierce, fferm Abergafran" - who died 2 March 1907. Much respected, suffered with his health and a staunch member of Bryngwyn.

You can see the property on this map: https://maps.nls.uk/view/135197818

Aber-Gafren just below the T and H in Penrhyndeudraeth

The OS map on https://www.bing.com/maps shows the name clearly.

You can also see the house on Google Street View. The name is covered by foliage but you can just see part of GA and then FREN

Hi Zoe,

After the late 50s the farm was occupied by Mr Peter and Mrs Megan Jones, who stayed there until mid 90s when Peter died. Megan lived in a bungalow nearby until recently and, if still alive, will be in a care home in Canaervon as the neighbour told me was her last whereabouts.

My grandparents from Birmingham camped there and arrived one holiday to find your grandfather had sadly passed away, but the new owners Megan and Peter allowed them to stay there. They camped there multiple times a year from late 50s until 90s 🙂.

My mum might know more so I can ask her any of your questions, you never know!

Ps the farm was tenanted as far as my mum is aware, so not owned by your family, hope this helps.
