Searching for any info about, and copies of work by, historian CENSORED
« on: Thursday 25 August 22 18:37 BST (UK) »
Hi all

I am searching for work by and written by CENSORED. She was a historian/genealogist living Hemel Hempstead, in the 90's. I believe she was extremely well known around Hemel amongst like minded people.

I believe she is actually a distant cousin of mine.

In the mid 90's my cousin spoke to her regarding work she had done tracing the Kingham's/Slough and Slowe families from Hemel, Great Gaddesden and Flamsterad and surrounding areas. She had done a huge amount of research on this, and self published "A Slowe Start" in 1994.

I have a partial copy of this, but would very much like to get a complete copy, as it relates to my ancestors up to my 13th great grandfather.

I'd also like to know if CENSORED is still around, perhaps someone could enlighten me?

The only place I could find any details about her was in "Genealogical research directory : national & international. 1995", which is on archive.org under "Contributors and addresses" - CENSORED
Any help would be appreciated.

Paul

Thank you for the help mckha489. In view of the other posts I tried to delete but theres no way to do so. So I've had to CENSOR my post. Not quite sure how I'd ever find someone on the site without naming them, but hey ho. Thanks again,

The purpose of the forum is to discover information about ancestors, not to track and locate the living or possibly still living.

The policy is clear
