Wright/Bradfield marriage 1842 Isleworth
« on: Sunday 28 August 22 13:16 BST (UK) »
Hello everyone

A DNA match's family tree has led me to a marriage in Isleworth. I understand the Isleworth parish records have not been deposited at the LMA and so are not available on Ancestry.
Does anyone have access to them?

On Familysearch I have located the following marriage:
27th June 1842 in Isleworth
Robert Wright & Sophia Bradfield.
Sophia's father is called John, but what I'm most interested in is John's occupation. I'm hoping for tailor or breeches maker.

Can anybody help?
All the best
Andy  :)

Is your Robert's fathers name known. Before wasting time in known facts was Robert's date of birth 10th March 1814.

Did he end up in NSW Australia.

John

You can always buy a copy of the marriage certificate if records aren't available online.

I don't know Robert's date of birth, but he and Sophia migrated in Tasmania (and I think later NSW) in 1843.
EDITED: Robert's father is called John Wright.

Thanks, Milliepede.
It's one of those where I really can't justify the cost of the certificate.
Just wondered if anyone out there had access.

It's in the Greater London Marriage Index on another pay site, but I suspect it won't help any further.

This is the death ref record for Robert Wright in 1897 NSW,

There's a Sophia Bradfield, 20, NBC, at the Middlesex County lunatic asylum (Hanwell), in 1841.
Not far from Isleworth
She was a nurse.
