Philip McDaid from Lower Fahan
« on: Monday 05 September 22 14:40 BST (UK) »
Hello, apologies if this is the wrong place to ask this.  I'm trying to find information about the marriage of a Philip McDaid from Lower Fahan to a Fanny Sweeney (from either Leat Beg, Fanad or Claggan, Carrigart).  I have hit a brick wall and stumbled one your posts while researching.  If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd be grateful.  Thank you.

Welcome to RootsChat LiamS
You need to give some idea of the year of the marriage and religious denomination so people know where to look.
If after 1864 and RC than you would expect a Civil Registration Cert 1845 for non RC.
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp

Earlier years than you need a parish record.
