help to find obituary in a local paper 1993

Hi there.
I have tried the usual places, newspapers , payed websites and such but cant find an obituary notice for a Peter Drake who died aged 70 in 1993, he lived in the Werrington area of Peterborough.
I know the address but wont publish it here, perhaps if a notice was made it was in a local paper that i cant find online.
This really does need a local with local knowledge i think.
Any info that may be recorded in the notice should help with some family history research that i am doing, any help please if possible.

Have you considered contacting Peterborough Library to ask if they can help?

If they have the newspaper in question they may well charge to do a look up.

Peter's death was registered in August of 1993 so that pins it down to one month.  If you know the date of his death then the relevant newspaper can be looked at without having to go through a whole month.  I have no idea if Peterborough has more than one local paper, perhaps you may know?

According to the will index,he died on 6th August 1993.

Not every death attracts an obit notice.  It's very much down to whoever is handling the funeral arrangements

I notice he was Peter Frank Drake b 24.1.1923

Peter married 1948 in Hastings but possible remarriage in Peterborough in 1953
