Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Home Guard Volunteer Donald John Orsler -  died 7/9/1940 / buried Erith (St John The Baptist) Churchyard.

The private memorial marking the grave of Volunteer Orsler no longer provides adequate commemoration.  The Commission are in the process of producing a headstone to mark his grave.

Casualty of WWII,Donald held the rank of Volunteer in the 13th Essex Bn. of the Home Guard. He was 37/38.  Died 7/9/1940
