I am searching for information regarding AJBF. He was born in 1932 (4th quarter), in Axbridge, Somerset. He was the eldest child to parents Ernest Arthur John Byrne Fluck (b. 28.04.1903), and Alice Mary Gosling. We are trying to trace his death details.

An ancestor of the family strongly believes that he died at an early age but does not know when or where. I appreciate that this is less than 100 years, however, it is believed that he is no longer alive.
Name Interests: Holland, Marshall, Townrow, Taylor.

Have you located him on the 1939 register

ADDED I have just located his parents and there is a line still redacted which could be him.  This could indicate he is still living  :-\

I have removed his names from my post heading

Would you be able to PM with information?

We believe he was alive after 1939.

The 1939 shows both parents and a child bn c1938 plus one person redacted.  As there is a redacted entry where his name should appear and no other children to the couple other than these two before 1939 I can only assume that the redacted person is him and no evidence of his death has been obtained.

If he is still living then we should not be showing his name on our posts

Deaths to 2021 are available to search online at https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/Login.asp

No death listed 2005 - 2021

In the meantime his name should be removed as a precaution and also from your subject header

I have done this concerning the possibility that he may still be alive. I have posted this on behalf of my father and I did explain this to him (though as the poster, I accept full responsibility). The information came from a family member who was told this person had passed away.

We had seen the information regarding addresses in London during the 1950s. Naturally, if they are no longer with us, then its safe to suggest it was after this period. Is there a way to find this out?

Online deaths are available to 2007 on Ancestry & an incomplete index from 2008.

The link to the full GRO website is shown above & there is no death listed from 2005 - 2021.  However - he may have died in another country unless the family member is able to confirm it was England/Wales

I checked Scotlands People & nothing listed

My sister was b 1929 & is still alive.
