Hi.   Cannot find a 1891 census entry for Henry Johns b.1858 St Anns Soho Westminster
       London.
       
       Having a lot of trouble finding this man before 1901.
       Thanks for any help.

Where is he living on the FindMyPast entry?

You really need to post the full 1901 entry so we know who the family members were

Same question asked above.  Not enough info given from 1901 entry to determine correct entry

Same entry on 1901 but birthplace again Shoreditch whereas post says St Annes Soho Westminster.

Poster mentions "before 1901" so assumption is he has the 1901 entry in which case birthplace given is not the same as the 1891/1901 entries for the family above

Must admit I get quite confused with birth places shown from different souces eg GRO and Parish Churches.

If the original poster has any more information, as you suggest, perhaps we can pinpoint the relevant info.
