List all names & ages plus his occupation

If he had a number of children in 1841 he would have been in his 80's or even 90's by 1911 so I doubt he would have been running a pub.   You need to ensure you have the right entry

Work backwards from what you know is correct

Was he your maternal or paternal great grandfather?

Which of his children are you descended from?  Name/birthyear/birthplace

Who did that child marry - when & where

EDIT

Sorry - didn't see previous reply.  Looks like the right family

Maternal grandfather.

Sarah married James Davies born silian 1864.

His father was Thomas born betws bledrws.  Father was a master carpenter coach builder  and rose to be a builder.  The family lived in pencarreg Cwmann. His father was a cooper. Married mary.. lived on the Derri ormond estate . His mother was single cane from somewhere near llsngranog.

Baptisms for Jame's and his brothers and sister were registered in silian church and the Unitarian church lampeter.

I was told from family hearsay john jenkins was from llanllwni but when I tried to find where he came from I could not find anything.

The farmer innkeeper horse dealer  john jenkins came from family hesrsay confirmed in the book the old farmhouse by d williams.
