George Ebenezer Keats born 1876, despite coincidence of surnames given, cannot be the son of the Caroline Smith bc.1823 Wellingborough, Northamptonshire (bp.18/4/1824, dau. William and Sarah) as she'd have been too old i.e. 53 in 1876.

I think his mother must have been Caroline's dau. Caroline Keats born 1858 Holborn as shown on 1871 census.  Perhaps she adopted the name of Burrows?   She'd only have been 16 when George Ebenezer was born - whatever, George Keets (as transcribed) is with George Burrows in 1881 and shown as grandson!

At the moment, can't see what became of Caroline Keats born 1858 in census after 1871.   Cannot see a likely marriage or death as Keats or Burrows after she'd had George Ebenezer.

Thank you all for your contributions so far, it certainly isn't straight-forward it seems!
We have gained some things we knew nothing about here, thankfully, Keats is a relative by marriage!  ;D
