birth reg and 1871 census look up please

Mothers maiden name is Guest, I think.

There is a Mary Ann b 1870.

Mary Anne's baptism in the Primitive Methodist Kingswood Circuit gives her parents as Isaac and Betsey and address as Two Mile Hill, which is the same as in 1881 census.
Her date of birth 26th March 1870.

Mary Ann Bateman was born 26th March 1870 and baptised September 1870 - parents Isaac and Betsy.

If you look for Isabel M Wride in various records her age varies. She was older than Samuel, her husband, so perhaps that’s the reason.

However, one record does have a matching birth date.

The only Isaac Bateman who was a Baker and Grocer was the one married to Betsy Guest 21/9/1856.

Since Isabel Mary states she was born 26/3/1870 in 1939, and Isaac and Betsy's daughter Mary Ann was born that same day clearly they are the same person.   Whilst with her family in 1871/1881/1891 census as Mary A. by the time she married in 1899 she'd changed her name to Isabel Mary.

Her birth entry was as Mary Ann Bateman, mmn Guest, Jun.qtr.1870 Clifton.
