Your reply 7 refers.  Everybody has access to www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

It is not an annual subscription site - you have to buy credits which is why you were advised to look things up yourself - we are not going to pay for your research.

If the marriage was 1855 or later - download the cert which will give her parents names.
If the marriage was before 1855 - look for her death & download the death cert to get the same info.

Duplicate posts for the same info waste members time & efforts.  Your comments in your last reply to Forfarian are extremely rude & unjustified.

I agree, we all have the same access to scotlandspeople (SP), whether we choose to use it or not.

You were given good advice by Forfarian which you chose to ignore but responded with abuse which isn't acceptable especially when being directed to the correct place for your research  :o

How very rude you are to a valuable and respected member of the Scotland board. Your loss as cannot see any wanting to aid your research with such a churlish attitude.

Good manners cost nothing, SP does, as the advice by Forfarian has given, pointing you in the direction to hopefully find.

You cannot expect others to pay for your research. Hopefully an apology is issued as your having a bad day. If not maybe this is not the forum for you, where manners are appreciated with the FREE help and advice.
