There is a townland and a parish called Killashee in Co. Kildare.

But as has been mentioned elsewhere, you really need the 1880 marriage certificate to get the fathers’ names and occupations. Otherwise you can never be sure of finding the right families.

I think John Maguire was from Killadeas in County Fermanagh. Baptisms for the R.C. Parish of Irvinestown start 1846 so you might find John or siblings there once you have confirmed parents but Maguire/McGuire is an extremely common surname in the area.

Yes that is my belief too. Sadly though up to now have not found him.

I have put a little note on your other thread about John and Annie. I mentioned it earlier.
We have moved on to John in this thread about Annie so it is a bit confusing.

This is just for information but might prove useful.
In 1881 4256/ 25/44 there is this family headed by James Maguire b Fermanagh. He might be related.
