The Isaac Marks who died in 1863 is not the Isaac Rendell Marks born West Coker.

In 1861 he is in Wellington (wife Sarah) and shown as bc.1804 West Buckland - wife Sarah a widow in 1871.

Hello and thank you so much,I am very confused now unfortunately,I am now not sure who Lydia harris born marks parents were,it looks like her fathers name was Isaac but not the Isaac Rendell from Somerset,I am guessing her father Isaac was born in Kidderminster, which would certainly make more sense, but I am still not sure who lydias mother was, sorry, kind regards Dean

Just to confuse matters there is an Elizabeth Rendall 18 servant in Somerset 1841 census

she say born Somerset but maybe not.

This is not the one who married Isaac Rendell Marks.   She was still in Blackwell Street in 1861 and was aged 54.

Dean - I believe you have the parents of Lydia correctly as being Isaac Rendell Marks and Elizabeth Randall.  It's just that the 1863 death of an Isaac Marks in Somerset was not him.

Have found out more about the family but no time right now to sort out details and post.   Will do so sometime this evening.

Sorry to mess you about, Dean.   Got home much later than planned, started to type out and then lost it all for some reason so very late now and will do tomorrow.
