Geoff Robinson....Builder

Asking for a friend, does anyone remember the late Geoff Robinson ?.....he was a builder around Melton, back in the 70's 80's and 90's......we think he lived at Wycomb, near Waltham-on-the-Wolds, and possibly used to work with his brother Mick Robinson......any help appreciated...

Not much info given.  Is he the Geoffrey Philip Robinson born 1922 died 1996?   If so - he didn’t have a brother “Mick”

Thanks.....we knew Geoff, back in the day, and wondered what happened to him, and someone said that he had died some years ago.......not looking for look ups or anything, just wondered if anyone remembered him.......not sure if this Geoffrey P Robinson is the same chap or not........in fact I'm not sure that Geoffrey was his first name or not, it could have been a second name.........

Well, I knew that it was a bit of a long shot, and I'm working on memories of 40 years ago.....not even 100% sure that Mick WAS Geoff's brother......what I do seem to remember is that Geoff had at least two sisters.....one lived in Grantham, and one lived down in the Vale of Belvoir, possibly at Eaton or Branston, although assuming that they had married names, they would be virtually impossible to find.....it was a chance meeting with an old work colleague that brought up his name from the past......

Mmmhhh.....I might be totally wrong, but I think that Geoff's first name was actually ALAN....the initials A G ring a  bell.....he was born 1934 and died in 2012 AND was known as Geoff, AND he is buried at Eaton, in the vale.....he also had a couple of sisters, AND a brother with middle inital "M" born in 1951....could the "M" be Mick ?......

If that is his brother - 17yrs younger - you need to remove his name as he could still be alive

Check for a marriage for him - freebmd has a likely one in 1960 & 2 children born 1965 & 1968

Look them up using www.192.com or telephone directories as they are your best source of the type of info you are looking for

Thank you Carole.....yes looks like a marriage, in 1960 and a daughter, and a son......I met his wife several times, back in the day.....I think she is still living......
