See the link below, which refers to Charles, stating 'His first wife was Belinda O'Conor Donelan who died in 1862 and his second wife was a French of Pollnahallia, parish of Donaghpatrick, county Galway.'

Ffrench is an unusual surname, is there any chance it could be derived or otherwise associated with the surname .. Ffrance ?
If a possibility, checkout Rawcliffe Hall, Lancashire and the passing of the property on the death of Ffrance to Wilson of Broughton on condition he adopted the surname Ffrance. (bypassing a niece of the surname Ffrance)
