Yes I have checked John and Amelias Marriage Cert and his fathers name is also John Pierce and his occupation is also Parish Clerk.

The issue I'm having is trying to work out John Pierce (Seniors) birth and death dates. And also his wife?

Yeah its an unusual one as both names and occupations are the same...

I know where John and Amelia are buried at St Beunos and will be heading there around 6th Nov.

I'm coming from Australia for a couple of weeks and splitting my time between Wales / Liverpool tracking down relatives and graves.

1851 he is in household of Gwen Roberts, widow, as lodger, with Richard Goodman Pierce, so it is him. Maybe a connection?

Wife Amelia (spelt Pearce) 1851 is with a Jones family with children Henry & Harriet
