Jessie Johnson, spinster, full age, resident Stratfieldsaye, father John Johnson, head gardener.
Married by license in the parish church by J G Joyce.
Signed. Witnesses John Johnson, Ellen Johnson, Matilda Tyler, George Parker.
Of the witnesses, John is presumably the father; George (1829-) is a brother in law. The only Ellen Johnson I know of in this large family was born in 1854 (hence 11 years old) so the Ellen must be someone else, cannot say who. I cannot trace Matilda Tyler.
