Eglinton Lunatic Asylum, Cork
« on: Sunday 09 October 22 10:48 BST (UK) »
Trying to find information on Jeremiah Collins who I believe worked at the Eglinton Asylum, Cork as an attendant in 1850's.
He may be my great great grandad. My great grandad was Alexander Thomas Collins (1851-1894) & on his marriage cert it states father as Jeremiah Collins Superintendant Lunatic Asylum.
Any help & guidance appreciated.
Tony Collins

There is a Jeremiah Collins mentioned as an attendant in the 1850s on this site.

The asylum later became Our Lady's Hospital.

They also have the Register of Male Attendants

Thks yes I found that & appreciate your response. Is there any way of finding out more throughout the next years 1850-1900? Tony
