Please note that my Calderdale Companion website is no longer supported on Ancestry's Rootsweb site:

http://freepages.history.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~calderdalecompanion/

That address is now obsolete and the information there is many years out of date.

Since the catastrophic loss of the data a couple of years back, the Calderdale Companion can now be reached via the address

calderdalecompanion.co.uk

Good to know that, good luck!

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

This site has been a wonderful resource and help, and the huge effort and research that evidently has gone into it makes it a sort of "National Treasure", and I'm so very glad it's not lost for ever. Thank you Mr Bull, so very much.
