Find My Past 1921 full access now included in Premium subscription

Can’t seen another post showing this, but FindMyPast have altered their subs so that full access to the whole of the 1921 is included in the Premium subscription for anyone that’s interested. Micro payments remain on the other levels of subscriptions. They offer an upgrade rate if you are part way through your sub year.

Be patient before you upgrade, folks!

I phoned FindMyPast to query why my upgrade would cost over £46.

They said there was a glitch, which they hoped to resolve "within the next few hours".

I was told upgrade from Pro would be a one-off £19.99 for existing subscribers.

I'm going to give it a few days ....

I’m going to wait till my renewal time. Mine said the cost to upgrade but that they’d take off the remaining amount of my current sub, but I’m just going to wait,  then I’ll get a full year hassle free with one payment.

I've 6/7 weeks left and am being offered £19.99 to upgrade with renewal Nov 30th at £199.99. But it doesn't indicate if my 15% loyalty discount will apply at that time. I am assuming it will.

Well don't do what I have done.

Upgraded by paying the £19.99 on the 'my account' page.  However as much as I tried I could not access the 1921 without getting the usual screen suggesting I pay the £3.15 per record.

Lookig around that screen tere was a button which said 'upgrade' which i clicked on thinking it would take me through to another screen where I might get more information.

No: it went straight to the 1921 census page - I had paid again!

I have 2 confirmatory emails from FindMyPast so will be on the phone first thing in the morning enquring about a refund.

My advice - do your upgrade having looked for someone in the 1921 census and instead of paying per reccord use the upgrade button on this screen.

My sub is up for renewal in about a fortnight, and FindMyPast have confirmed to me that I'll be able to upgrade at that point, so long as I ask them beforehand. Others here have been told the same - see this thread:

FindMyPast also told me that the loyalty discount will apply as usual, so the Premium £199.99 will be reduced to £169.99.

Your description of the subs/renewal prices they are showing sounds just like mine, but they confirmed that the discount would be applied anyway at the point of payment. Funnily, though, someone somewhere posted a screenshot earlier today where their page showed the price after discount - in their case Pro at £152.99.

Pro does not. Include the 1921.
Premium is the sub which does.
