I would have thought that you would need to purchase the documents to see what they both say  :-\

It's two couples with the same names.

From the IGI, there were nine children born to Peter M(a)cDonald and Margaret Barrie/y
1. George Barrie born 14 Oct 1860 (died 1922)
2. Peter, born 25 June 1862
3. Ronald, born 7 September 1863 (died 1864)
4. Henry William Barrie, born 8 October 1864 (died 1939)
5. James, born 26 February 1865
6. Janet Watson, born 7 June 1867 (died 1875)
7. John Robertson, 9 February 1869 (died 1871)
8. Peter, born 4 June 1870 (died 1926)
9. Ronald, born 26 March 1872 (died 1875)

ColC has found a census with Nos 5, 6 and 8, and here's one, also in Dundee, with Nos 1, 2, 4 and 7

Margaret McDonald 30
George McDonald 10
Peter McDonald 8
Henry Wm McDonald 6
John McDonald 2
which accounts for Nos 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.

So this is the couple married on 25 July 1860, and ColC's first find is the couple married on 9 March 1863.

No 3 had died and No 9 was not yet born. Looking at the dates, I imagine that No 3 belongs to the first family ColC has found, so it would be reasonable to suppose that No 9 also belongs to the same family.

1881 Census: Couple B (married 1863)
Margaret McDonald   widow
James McDonald son 16
Peter McDonald son 10

I have yet to find Couple A (married 1860) in 1881.

There's a death of Peter McDonald, 30, mother's maiden surname Sharp, in Dundee in 1872, so that must be the one from couple B.

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
