WILLIAM HUDSON Leinster Regiment 1916
« on: Sunday 16 October 22 17:37 BST (UK) »
WILLIAM  HUDSON died on 2 Aug 1916 after service with the Leinster Regiment. Aged c. 45 he was the husband of Sarah Hudson; the couple had married after his discharge from the army. William died in the Whitworth Hospital at Morning Star Avenue, Grangegorman. His death registration gives his address as 48 Newmarket; his Pension Card gives his widow's address as Railway Street. (Sarah may well have moved after William's death).
Does anyone know where William Hudson is buried?

Glasnevin Record # BGLS75198 / Grave Reference KA39 ST. PAUL'S

William Hudson died Aug 2nd 1916 - funeral arrangements were made by his wife Sarah Hudson of 4 Lwr Kevin Street on Aug 4th

There were six burials between Aug 05 and Aug 08 1916 in the grave all from Workhouse or Hospital addresses.  There is nothing to indicate they were related.
Aug 5th Joseph O'Neill aged 70 and William Hudson aged 47
Aug 7th Margaret McGowan aged 38 & Elizabeth Kenny aged 32
Aug 8th Kate Byrne aged 60 & John Joseph O'Toole aged 14

There is a possibility that Sarah Hudson died on Nov 15 1940 at 2 Fishamble Street

Hi myluck!  Can I ask you to check date of death?  You say 4th Aug; death registration on genealogy.ie says 2nd Aug. Otherwise sounds like you have hit the spot.
