On Thursday 27 October 2022 at 2.30 pm there is going to be a talk on the 'Three Harriets' - Harriet E. Wilson and Harriet A. Jacobs, African American writers. The third Harriet is the abolitionist and Caucasian writer Harriet Beecher Stowe.
These women all wrote to expose the ills of slavery in America and this event is part of a celebration of Black History Month.
Refreshments will be available and the event is FREE but booking is essential to obtain a place.
