Presumably this is Betsy's baptism
23 Jan 1824 at Kidderminster, parents Henry and Ann

Probable siblings -
Matilda Randle baptised 16 Feb 1825 (Possible burial age 2 on 4 Dec 1826)
Mary Matilda Randle baptised 10 Jun 1829

Where do you have Betsy on census

Possibly Ann in 1851 with daughters Matilda & Sania(?).  Also 'Marks' grandchildren.

Ann is 46, a widow bn Kidderminster

Possibility?

A Henry Rendall married Ann Longmore on 18 May 1823 in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. Both signed. Witnesses were Richard Lewis and Sarah Longmore.

I note from his children's baptisms that Henry was a glazier.

That looks good Queenie  :)

Thank you  :)

I cannot find any evidence of a Henry & Ann Rendell having children in Kidderminster around 1823, so it seems highly likely this is the right couple.

If so, there is this baptism:

Ann Longmore, daughter of John and Elizabeth Longmore, baptised 24 April 1803 in Hartlebury (just outside Kidderminster).

On the 1851 census, Ann said she was 59, so this would fit.

More confirmation:

There is a marriage between a John Longmore and Mary Jones at Kidderminster on 7 October 1823 and the witnesses are Jane Lewis, Sarah Longmore and Henry Randal. Unfortunately, the Kidderminster images are all Bishop's Transcripts, not the original, which may explain the multiple different spellings of Randall.

There is obviously a connection between the Longmore and the Lewis family.

There is this marriage licence from 1813:

Richard Lewis, age 39, boatman, of Wombourne, Staffordshire, widower, married Elizabeth Longmore, age 32, of Kidderminster, Worcestershire, widow.

Still looking for Henry Randall's origins...

Looks like Elizabeth was the widow of John Manning Longmore, who was Ann's father.

John Manning Longmore died in 1812, aged approximately 34. He left a will, proved in Kidderminster, which may provide more detail about the family.
