Just wandering if anyone has access to the above that could look up James  Simpson Town Crier in Elgin for 1915.  Any help would be much appreciated

Just a brief mention. It is headlined as the 'Patriotic Family'. The Elgin Town Crier and his wife, Mr and Mrs James Simpson, 95 High Street, have given 8 sons, 5 sons in laws and 2 grandsons to the Forces. There are few families in Britain that can boast of such a patriotic record.

This is from the Aberdeen Press and Journal 9 November 1915. There are similar mentions in other papers.
