Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Petty Officer First Class William Edwin Penny - died 21/11/1914 - Royal Navy - Service No :- 179420  (Dev)
Buried Halwell St Leonard Churchyard -

The private memorial marking the grave of Petty Officer 1st Class no longer provides adequate commemoration.  The Commission are in the process of producing a hew headstone to mark his grave.

He seems to be the son of Samuel Penny and Frances Murch.
Siblings Thomas,Francis,Clara ,Percivel,Mary ,Nellie ,Frederick,John ,Eliza,Esther and Albert.
