It might be Toby.  I went off to see what books I did have and found a couple of Wilts/Berks canal ones.
Plus the marvellous old pub books we’ve talked about before. 

Maybe Elm Villa is mentioned in railway books if the manager lived there in 1871.  Will look those out too!

I loved the Old Town museum too and read recently about its new home.
