Maria preece b 1804 Monmouth

I am trying to find out who her parents were please

She married a Thomas Lewis b 1796

FindMyPast has the baptism (transcript only) of a -

Maria Preece, 12 Dec 1802, place Newland (Gloucestershire), parents Thos and Mary.

Newland is 3 miles south east of Monmouth

And did Maria have a sister Charlotte  ??

I found a record of Maria Lewis  ( nee preece ) in the 1841 census with her husband Thomas and a good many of their children living on the doward Whitchurch herefordshire and residing with the family  ( misspelled  ) and what could be Maria's mother ann preece  ( that again misspelled as price  )

Can anybody find a ann Who married  Preece,  he could have possibly died before 1841 census,  or find a  ?? Preece that died in whitchurch herefordshire

There is a James Preece married  Ann Brown 2 December 1793 St Mary Monmouth

In the 1861 census, the family (Thomas, Maria, Charles, Samuel and Isabella) all say born Whitchurch too. However, in the 1841, it does have not born in county for Maria, yet Ann PRICE/PREECE is born in county.

1841 Ann Preice is 90 years old if I'm reading it correctly  and Maria is approximately 30-35 years old.

So what if Ann is her grandmother. The age difference makes Ann too old to be her mother.

That's a good thought, grandmother rather than mother, as she does seem too old to be Maria's mother.
