William WEBB WW1 1921.
« on: Thursday 27 October 22 20:21 BST (UK) »
WILLIAM WEBB, 1 Northamptonshire Regt. died on 27 Feb 1921 at the age of 24. He died in the Military Hospital in Tipperary from pneumonia. I am assuming that the Regt was serving in Ireland at that time.
William was from near Newmarket. In 1911 he was living at Westley Bottom Farm Lodge, Westley Waterless, Newmarket. The family consisted of WILLIAM, his father David, step-mother Eliza, brothers Albert, David and Alfred and step-sister Lilian Diver.
Does anyone know where William Webb is buried? Was he brought home to Newmarket or buried in Ireland? I would be grateful for any information which would help to identify his place of burial.
