A couple of newspaper articles about Dora Georgina MILES of Castle St, Bishops Stortford  - July 1932 a motor cycle accident (she was pillion passenger) with leg injuries.

A couple of newspaper items about Frederick Charles MILES, probably the father, if you're interested. Charged with trespassing in search of game in Farnham on 3 November 1921, notes "several previous convictions"

Thank you for the two newspaper updates, I was unaware of both.

Florence had another daughter, born out of wedlock, her name was Florence and she married Sidney Edward Chappell. It would appear that it is probably the same Sidney.

I did notice two marriages for a Dora G Miles in Gosport. Hampshire, the first to Stillwell in 1935,
then to Henry J Knight in 1942.
This Dora Sillwell is on the 1939 Register in Hampshire, with  Stillwell crossed out and annotated Knight, sadly her DOB 30 Aug 1914, so unless that is wrong it will be of no help.
Her daughter below is with her on the register.

The only marriage I can find for Ethel is below but I do not see her in 1939, unless that is her death in 1938?

There is a tree on Ancestry for Dora's first husband Herbert G Stillwell, it states he was born 1915 Havant and was killed in 1941 Singapore.

I have had a closer look at Dora G and as you mention the date of birth does not match with my Dora G. Her second marriage to Henry J Knight a few years later, there is a Henry J Knight living next door to Dora G on the 1939 register, so it would appear to him.

Thank you once again, now having a look at Ethel Miles.
