Robert and Jane married in 1874 (per the 1911 census), though through extensive FindMyPast, Ancestry and GRO certificate purchases I've yet to find them tying the knot.

There is a tree on Ancestry with Robert Williams b 1853 of Cwm y glo. He died a few months later and, of Cwm y glo, was buried in Llanrug on 14th December.

I've been checking out the Cwmyglo family. Three children born to Jacob/Mary and all died very, very young - including Robert Jacob Williams, died 14 Dec 1853, aged 6 months. Father Jacob buried 1855.

Can certainly close that trail!

I've briefly checked on a marriage for Robert and Jane Roberts circa 1874 but nothing as yet.

Penisarwaen is in the parish of Llanddeiniolen**  Many inhabitants were quarrymen at the large Dinorwig Quarry at the top end of the parish.

The parish baptism records after 1832 seem to be missing. They are not deposited at Gwynedd Archives, Caernarfon [hence why they are not on Ancestry/FindMyPast?]

However, according to this Genuki page they may be at NLW, Aberystwyth in the form of Bishops Transcripts

Llanddeiniolen
1676-1683, 1687, 1689-1701, 1703-1717, 1719-1743, 1745-1774, 1776-1780, 1782-1791, 1793-1883

Here is the NLW enquiries page

It's quite some time since I bought copies of stuff from them. At that time it was something like 10p per photocopy but with a minimum £5 charge. If you find that they do have the baptims for 1853 which includes a Robert Williams then you might want to consider getting as many pages before/after the entry for the minimum charge to deduce whether there are siblings etc to fit in with your Llandwrog research.

** which might be the word after Penisarwain in the 1921 census, albeit a bit mangled?

An 1853 birth could well translate to a non-conformist baptism especially as they were quarry workers.
As regards the church registers they may be held in the local county council archive in Caernarfon there are many held there which haven’t been digitised it might be worth a phone call, they do have an online list of records held but I do not know how complete it is.  As it’s a smallish village the baptism register could possibly still be at the church.   It might be worth contacting them direct.  I’ll post a couple of links if I can

I have found that a few parish churches keep copies of their registers when they are sent to Archives, etc
Hope this helps
