LOCAL FAILURES
In the Birmingham Court of Bankruptcy today, William Edward WITHERS and Henry Augustus WITHERS, trading as Withers Brothers, of Park Road, Soho, rope and brush manufacturers, the said William Edward WITHERS residing at 33, Wheeler Street, and the said Henry Augustus WITHERS, residing in Finch Road, Handsworth, filed their petition for liquidation, with liabilities estimated at £7,000 and assets considerable but not yet ascertained.

AN ASTON LICENCING CASE - The Endorsement Cancelled
At the Warwickshire Quarter Sessions on Tuesday, upon the application of Mr Young, the Court agreed to remove the endorsement of the licence of Henry Augustus WITHERS, landlord of the "Bee Hive", Wilton-street, Aston on the understanding that the conviction was affirmed.
The magistrates (Messrs. J T Collins and E H Stringer), assented to the course, owing to the circumstances which had come to their knowledge since the hearing.
