Argyle Terrace - Sunderland
« on: Tuesday 01 November 22 13:00 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I am trying to find out when Argyle Terrace, in Fulwell, Sunderland was built.
Checking the 1901 census there were two families in the property then - the Wordingham and Coulthard families, and in 1911, a James Oliver and his family were in the property.

However, there is no trace in 1891, so I'm assuming that the terrace was built some time between 1891 and 1901 - can anybody find out when exactly?

Thanks
Sue

1938 map - shows Argyle Ter running from Sea Road to Atkinson Road. On the 1901 Census it falls between Sea View Road and Atkinson Street.

1895 map - shows Atkinson Road but no development re. Argyle Terrace
