Hi John, I’ve come across the info you shared before but don’t think it’s my Elizabeth. Her father was definitely stated as Edward on her first marriage certificate whereas the Elizabeth you found father was Issac

It would seem Robert & Elizabeth were having children until at least 1889

Annie McBride born 28.4.1889 at 23 Derwent St. Parents Robert McBride--joiner-- & Elizabeth, formerly Houston. Present at the birth was a Margaret DIXON (x her mark). Wonder if a sister or mother??

1901 census finds Robert aged 55 occ-joiner with 5 children at 35 Kelinworth St, recorded as married.

Death of Elizabeth McBride 27th March 1901 (aged 53). Death address 35, Kenilworth St. Wife of Robert McBride --joiner. Her son John McBride was the informant of her death.

Info only, when Elizabeth married married James Houston in 1865 her surname is recorded as DICKSON.

The birth of a daughter Susan Houston 21/5/1867 in Belfast records mmn as DICKSON.

Is she DIXON/DICKSON
