Just to confirm the children of Amos from another source:
   1. Phyllis Carr, *,   b. 1787, Fewston d. Oct 1856, Fewston   (Age 69 years)
    2. John Carr,   b. 8 Jul 1788, Fewston
    3. Mary Carr,   b. 8 Nov 1789, Fewston
    4. Elizabeth Carr,   b. 6 Mar 1791, Fewston

I'm rather sceptical about Phyllis Carr being a daughter of Amos. There is no sign of her baptism in Fewston. Amos and Jane moved from Fewston to Hunsingore between 1791 and 1793, judging from baptism places of their children, Phyllis would have been 5 or 6 and would have gone with them. I can find a Phillis Carr marrying a William Holmes in 1807 at Fewston and living there until her death. It only appears to be Ancestry trees that have her as a child of Amos. One of those trees adds a baptism in Bedale on 13 May 1787 as a source which states she was d/o Thomas Carr and Ann! The only source of her birthplace as Fewston is the 1851 census, which could be suspect - her husband could just have assumed she was born there as they had married there.
