Jeremiah Murphy 1793 Cork

Hello!

First time researching Irish records so would appreciate some help as I'm not having much luck with the information on Ancestry. My family research has been based in SE London, but I have now come across a Mariner by the name of Jeremiah Murphy, born anywhere from 1793-1796 in County Cork, depending on the census. I've only been able to locate him in the 1851 and 1871 English Census in London. I don't have much to go on but I had hoped to find his parents or siblings.

He married in 1828 to a Hannah Dessbrow Dann:
Name   Jeremiah Murphy
Marriage Date   25 Jun 1828
Marriage Place   St George in the East, Tower Hamlets, England
Spouse   Hannah Dessbrow Dann

So far I have found 6 daughters and 1 son (Thomas Samual) from the marriage.

The 1871 census shows him living with daughter Elizabeth and her husband John Spurle. Jeremiah died in 1876 admitted to the hospital by his son-in-law John Spurle:

Dreadnought Seamen’s Hospital admission Jeremiah Murphy, age 86, born Cork. On Sept 5th 1874 -  admitted Somerset – John B Spurle; Address 4 Otago Terrace Cheltenham. Admitted with senility. GRO Reference: 1876  M Quarter in GREENWICH  Volume 01D  Page 607

Thank you very much!
