Another daughter of John R Wray and Susan Mather was Lillian Gladys Wray born 14 Feb 1888. She appears to be a boarder in the 1900 census. She married Elmo Douglas Maccurdy 29 May 1913.

Might this be the death record for John Wray? Note the question mark beside his age.

Here are the sources for John Robert Wray showing on Familysearch. Note the 1861 census source is in London not Hull but that may be based on the age he gave when he married Susan.

Thanks very much Sandra & Millmoor for the info.

Have only today returned from a very soggy trip to the Canary Islands so will look at the above info in depth as soon as I get an opportunity.

Thank you, Pheno
