Munro/Hunter info needed

I am looking for some information on Margaret Hunter born 1948.

I am looking to find out who her parents were, I believe them to be Alexander Easton Hunter who married Margaret Munro. She had three brothers named Alexander, William and Duncan but i am unsure of dates.

 No she hasnt but her brothers have passed.

You need to order your mothers' birth cert. online at scotlandspeople.gov.uk to find out what info. is recorded regarding her parents.

Those details fall within the 100 yrs privacy rule & are not available online although they are searchable at the scotlandspeople centre (only).

If her parents were as we have been discussing, you have now their 1930 marriage record and their parents' details. We also have her father's death from the index in 1983 and mother Margaret's death in 1976 above.

Brothers: 

Alexader died 2013, aged 82.
Duncan died 2003, aged 71.
William died 2012, aged 77.

None of these records are available to view online as they are too recent. You would need to order them to gain further info.

I'd suggest you purchase the birth cert. of your mother to be 100% clear on what info. was provided as there's no substitute for it.

I've added approx. yrs of birth for her 'brothers'...

Alexander d 2013 aged 82 (1931)
Duncan d 2003 aged 71 (1932)
William d 2012 aged 77 (1935)

There's a big gap between brother William b1935 & your mother born b1948, were there other siblings too?
