I am trying to find a date of death or marriage for William Charles Buckley born 14 Jan 1909 in Hackney he was my great great Uncle. I have found deaths and marriages for people with that name but was wondering if there is any other way, other than obtaining death/marriage certs (which is expensive and takes a long time) to find the right one I was hoping someone with greater experience than myself has any thoughts?

The 1939 register has a match to his birthdate but middle initial is J not C

I think his birth was 1907??

(Wondered why Carole and I were getting different results on the 1939!)

 Born 1909 but the 1939 register shows 1907. Unmarried at that time.

Working from the 1939 register, the Frederick 1914 below William born 1907 has mmn Rivers.

William Charles Buckley according to his baptism was born 14th January 1909, parents Alfred and Sarah. William aged 2 in 1911 and 12 in 1921.
