Thanks, Drayke  :)

Re my Puleston line~

I'm descended  from Katherine 1670-1732. She married  Edward Griffiths

Her father was Richard Puleston  (d. 1678)

Parents Edward Puleston and Dorothy Rogers.

A distant cousin of mine has a website which lists our line:

https://pulestonancestry.wordpress.com/edward-puleston/

https://pulestonancestry.wordpress.com/puleston-ancestry/

Main link  https://pulestonancestry.wordpress.com/

I've not done very much on the line for many years - we go back to Lowri, sister of Owain Glyndwr and beyond.

By the time it got to my grandmother, the family were tenant farmers, and butlers at Chirk Castle

Ah I see. Thanks. So, for the Edward Lloyd (born in Berthlloyd and moved to Trefeglwys) who I mentioned that married Ursula Owen, her grandmother Margaret Puleston is descended from the same Lowri who married Robert Puleston. You, per that website, are descended through their son John whereas Urusla Owen and the Trefeglwys Lloyd side are descended through their son Madoc and his wife Margaret verch Dafydd.

Thank you for drawing my attention to that.  It means that Simon and I are very distant cousins (along with many others, I expect).
