I am trying to discover more about their family.
I have two daughters:
Ann Dobson born 1790 Yorkshire, England Died 15 Aug 1864 Paris, Paris, Ile-de-France, France
married
Clément Jean Casajeus Crillon born? Died 5 Feb 1842 Paris, Paris, Ile-de-France, France
one known child
Alexandre Pierre Clément Casajeus Crillon born 30 Sep 1823 Paris, Ile-de-France, France Died
6 Feb 1890 Monaco he was a photographer
other children?
Elizabeth Dobson Born 1800 Kingston upon Hull Died 30 Apr 1873 King Street, Cottingham East Yorkshire

George Gossip Born 1798 Sculcoates, Yorkshire, England Died 2 June 1866 Cottingham, East Yorkshire, England.
Did Thomas and Elizabeth have any other children?
French Branch is of interest, Why did Ann marry a Frenchman?

I have found out a few things which may or may not help. There are online trees with some information about this family which you would need to check of course; Thomas was a Farmer, and he married Elizabeth Croft 18/10/1787 at Hull Holy Trinity Church. There is a son born in 1788 Hull, Robert Dobson. It looks as if Elizabeth their daughter might have been known as Betsy, and if this is her then she was born 31st October 1799 and baptised 3rd July 1800. There is handwritten information about her, but it is on non-conformist paperwork, so not sure. She was married 19/10/1818.

Just looked up french records .the couple also had a daughter louise Marthe  CRILLON
who married Alexandre Joseph  DUBOIS and had 2 children Leon & Édouard

Btw french records all use Anne spelling

And a son called Pierre B 1823 m Anne ANDRE 1852

Their first child  was Emilie b1810 in Cheltenham Gloucester so maybe  you could find a baptism for her

I think Emilie Marthe may be the same person as Louise .

If they baptised children in England maybe they married there
If you can find the certificate it might give Clements profession
+ A reason for him to be in England

Hi Paul I looked on ancestry where did you find information and have you come across alternative spellings
There a Clementine Ann baptism with parents Clement and Ann but I don't know if it's the right one
