Another P.O.W.

  Not wanting to hi-jack Paul's thread, I have started another.
  I have had a quick look at The Red Cross site, but can't see my relative Ernest Pay listed. I do already know quite a lot about his time as a P.O.W., so if he is anywhere on that site, will it tell me any more than basic information? He was in a Canadian regiment.

I can't see him there either but FindMyPast has images of the ICRC records for him so they must be there somewhere!

  Something else I have never found on FindMyPast! How do I get to that record? I do have quite a lot about him, thanks to the research done by his old regiment in Canada. Taken prisoner at 2nd Ypres.

  Thanks for those links, are they the ICRC records Shaun mentioned? Typically efficient German records - interesting to see him on the list of sick for transfer to Holland. I had worked out from the Canadian records that he was returned home with a batch of unfit men.
