St Mary the Virgin church baptism records 1888
« on: Thursday 17 November 22 17:31 GMT (UK) »
Hello everyone, I wonder if anyone could help me. It appears that the only location for the Radwinter St Mary the Virgin baptism records for 1888 is here:

Essex Onlinhttps://www.essexarchivesonline.co.uk/result_details.aspx?DocID=479867

I've checked Ancestry, FindMyPast, FreeBMD and Family Search. Does anyone have access to this service and if so could they tell me if there were any baptisms specifically on Sunday 2nd September 1888 there? If there is could I have the details please? Many thanks

There's a bp at St Mary Radwinter on Ancestry showing Thomas William Gray born 3 Aug & bp 2 Sept 1888 - son of Thomas James Gray & Elizabeth Gardiner Gray

As you haven't mentioned a surname I don't know if this is who you're searching for.

Many thanks to both of you and I hope I'm not breaking any rules, that was never my intention and I apologise if I have. Yes. The issue is I'm wanting a list, if indeed there are any at all, of the baptisms that took place on that specific day at that specific church. FreeReg only works with the first 3 names of the surname or first name so there's too many variants. But thank you for the Gray information.

The Gray baptism is the only one that took place that day.

It's a very short list as that's the only baptism on the 2 Sept 1888

Is the Gray christening not what you're looking for?

No, it's to prove or disprove an old family story that's all! Thank you.
