Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Pilot Officer Leslie Israel Alter - Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve  - no 126504  - died 3/9/1942 - buried Willesden Jewish Cemetery.

The private memorial marking the grave of Pilot Officer Alter no longer provides adequate commemoration. The Commission is in the process of producing a headstone to mark his grave.
