Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Pvt George Woods - The Loyal North Lancashire Regiment - Service No 3105 - died 23/8/1921 - buried Preston (New Hall Lane) Cemetery -

Research has shown Pvt Woods is buried at New Hall Cemetery. The Commission are in the process of producing a headstone to mark his grave.

Spouse / Widow Lydia.

Could this be Lydia Bradshaw ? A Marriage registered December 1914 - Preston 8e 953

The marriage you have put a link up to was according to Lancashire BMD ,
Was at Preston St Peter, in 1914,

there are a couple of Joseph Bradshaw deaths that could have been Lydia's first husband,

Was George a soldier perhaps before he married Lydia,
a driller , electrical engineers as occupation in 1911 ,
