No baptism for a John, father William, found in the non-conformist registers either.

They had several children baptised Prees, including below

The last two would seem to rule out a John around that time?

Here's another one in 1851, not the one married to Elizabeth Davenport

That one is born Foxholes, Lizzie, Which is in the southern part of Shropshire, away from Prees..

I think that one married Mary in 1848, Whittington. His father's name was Edward.

Add - not sure the occupations match though - Boatman and Shoemaker!
